Fiasco Winery

Fiasco Winery is the Audacious side of Jacksonville Vineyards! The Cellar Door at Fiasco is a relaxing Old World European garden.  Owners Pamela and Dave happily greet you, then share their wines and their obvious passion for their internationally award winning wines.   What's not to love?

100% Estate grown and bottled ~ Dave crafts exceptional Bordeaux wines of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Claret in the historic "JV" label.  Then too Pamela pours the Fiasco labeled Sangiovese, Zinfandel, Syrah, Super Tuscan & Fattoria Rosso and Bianco ~ unique & delicious blends in the Italian tradition of bringing great wine and great friends together for great memmories!

You may also enjoy a picnic & wine creekside while viewing exciting hang gliding and paragliding launches and landings!  Dave has flown hang gliders for 30+ years, and still can't resist the urge to fling himself into the skies above Fiasco from the mountain he first conquered 3 decades ago.  Tandem flight anyone?

Fiasco is an intimate boutique tasting experience, unique, comfortable and welcoming, with surprizes too.  Dave and Pamela have taken their love of traveling to little known wineries and blended them into a one-of-a-kind experience for their guests at Fiasco.

Fiasco: Old Italian ~ To make a bottle.  A wine bottle with a round bottom often having a straw covering.  To “commit a Fiasco” ~ coined when a15th century Italian actor performed on Paris stage missed his lines.  To “pay the Fiasco” the offending thespian 'paid for the bottle' of wine for that evening’s celebration as his light hearted payment for a flawed performance ~ and all had a raucious good time to boot!

When was your last FIASCO?
Ciao, David and Pamela Palmer
