Fiasco Winery is the Audacious side of Jacksonville Vineyards. The Tasting Room at Fiasco offers relaxed European garden style wine tastings. As you enter the owner’s will greet you and share their wines and their passion for their internationally award winning wines.
100% estate grown and bottled we ferment small lots of Syrah, Sangiovese, Zinfandel, Syrah Rose’, Super Tuscan, and unique annual blends such as our 2007 Rogallo Red. The Summer Whites are Chardonnay and White Riesling. Three Bordeaux wines; Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Claret are labeled under our Jacksonville Vineyards label and poured in the tasting room.
Enjoy your picnic and a bottle of wine outdoors while viewing the local hang gliding launch and landings. The Tasting Room at Fiasco offers seasonal reserved parties, second Saturday live music, and the small intimate boutique tasting experience we all look for when traveling to unknown appellations!
Fiasco: Old Italian… To make a bottle. A wine bottle with a round bottom often having a straw covering. To “commit a Fiasco” Originated with 15th century, Italian actors, performing on Parisian stages who missed their lines. To “pay the Fiasco” the offending thespian paid for the bottle of wine for the evening’s celebration!
